I just stepped out of the shower and now I'm all set up in my easy chair with my notebook computer, the remote control and an ice cold bottle of Anchor Steam. Maria made it past the Wimbledon quarterfinals and I'm about to watch her semifinal match against Lindsay Davenport.

Andrea and Jessie were suspiciously eyeing a rectangular cardboard box in Linda's cubicle, when I sneaked up behind them and goosed them. They both squealed and jumped up several inches off of the ground. Then they turned around and socked me on the arm and told me to keep quiet. I didn't ask them about the cardboard box, but several hours later, I saw Andrea and Linda whacking the box up against the corner of Andrea's desk.

It must have been an extremely naughty box to warrant that type of abuse. I stood there and silently watched them until they were done and then I applauded. They gave me a fiendish look when I asked them, "What's in the box?" I didn't have to wait long to find out. They tore open the box and ripped into a decorative foil package. Linda's cube immediately filled up with the sweet smell of decadently rich chocolate. Yes, it was chocolate. A ridiculously huge chocolate bar that easily weighed over twenty pounds.

Where did this chocolate come from? Well, a long time ago, Linda's old boss had her order several of the gargantuan bars as gifts for customers and one of those bars was leftover and forgotten in her old boss's cabinet. Today, her new boss made her empty the cabinet and discard what was not needed. When asked about the chocolate, her new boss told her she could have it. Cool, huh?

So that's what I'm eating right now and if Janine doesn't get home soon, I'm going to eat the piece I brought for her.
