Yesterday morning, Maria surprised Serena by upsetting her in straight sets to become the Wimbledon Ladies Singles Champion. Maria was like a machine. She was totally unrelenting. Her attitude reminds me of Justine's, but unlike Justine, Maria has the mental toughness that Justine lacks. She doesn't get down on herself when things aren't going her way. She fights back. In a head to head, I think she would beat Justine.

There was some major drama last night, but I don't want to depress myself by regurgitating it.

It's a Sunday morning and I'm usually still asleep, but Janine woke me up when she got out bed. Her foot became tangled in the sheets and she tripped and made a booboo on her head. I kissed it for her and told her to go back to sleep, but she had other plans. A half hour later, she returned with some hot chocolate, croissants and the morning paper. Right now, she's stretched out on her side of the covers, with a croissant in one hand and a mug of raspberry hot chocolate in the other. I'm just hoping she doesn't hit me with her feet. She's facing the other way and swaying her legs carelessly, while she reads the funnies.

I can't wait until we hit Linda's barbeque. She's going to make some of those grilled stuffed breads. Those things are absolutely mouthwateringly tasty. They're almost like calzones, except they don't have any sauce. All they contain is just cheese and filling. Janine wholeheartedly agrees. She also reminded me that we have to make cookies for our senior visit today. I hope Mr. A recognizes me. I had keep reminding him the last time.

Okay, I have to stop now, because Janine is purposely swinging her feet and it looks like I'm going to have to teach her a lesson.
