The first thing Janine and I did, was strip naked and jump into the pool. Francine has a killer house with an indoor pool. Dad stays there when he's in town, but last night he had to fly out for some business and I cajoled him into letting us use the pool.

We had so much fun in there. We did laps and raced against each other. Janine is a good swimmer. I had a tough time keeping up with her. In addition to playing Chase, we played a bunch of other games using the water polo goals and the basketball hoops. I don't know how long we stayed in there, but by the time we got out, we were wrinkled all over and freezing our tushies off. It seems that the pool room has a bunch of louvered vents that we didn't know about. The vents allowed the freezing night air to seep in and invade our space.

We jumped back into the warm water and decided to count to three. Then we quickly got out of the pool and sprinted inside, into the shower. The moment the hot water hit our skin, we were in heaven. It felt so incredibly good. It warmed us up, but it also made us drowsy. The thick warm towels and luxurious guest robes didn't help any. By the time we made it into living room, we were half asleep. We ended up crashing on the sofa and we almost didn't make it into work this morning.
