"Let me take you far away, would you like a holiday"

Janine and I are planning to take a vacation together. We talked about it last night after we came back from Brent's. It's been nearly three years since I took a real vacation where I actually went somewhere and did something. The past three vacations have all been spent at home with Dean or alone, trying to get over our breakup.

Janine is also in need of a vacation. She hasn't taken one since she was with Heather and that was nearly two years ago. I'm not sure how it works at her company, but at mine they have a maximum accruable limit. If you hit the maximum limit, you stop accruing hours until you use some. I stopped accruing in May, so that means I have lost three days of vacation, because I haven't taken any. Yup, it's definitely time for a vacation.
