I'm sitting here in front of my new fan. It's keeping me cool while I sip on my Sheaf stout and nosh on this soft pretzel that I stole from work. It was the last meeting of the day and I hadn't had breakfast or lunch. We noticed the catering cart contained a basket full of leftover soft pretzels. They were from an earlier meeting, but the caterers hadn't picked up the cart, so when our meeting ended, we each grabbed one on our way out. I came home and popped it in the microwave for a few seconds and then squirted some honey mustard on it. I have to admit it tastes good. It's soft, but not stale and it's not too salty either.

I'm waiting for Michael. He should be here shortly. After he completes his lessons, we're going to attack the rest of that 1000 piece puzzle. Meanwhile, I'm watching images of the Democratic National Convention while Ryoko Shinohara sings "Lady Generation."

It's been a long day and I'm glad the rough part is over.
