Breakfast with Terence was interesting. He made a savory pancake and layered it with diced potatoes, olives, artichoke hearts and cheese. Then he smothered it with a rich buttery sauce that melted the cheese and made everything all yummy! It was an interesting pancake because it was crunchy instead of soft. It reminded me of hashbrowns.

After breakfast, he showed me the properties that he was looking at. That's why he invited me over for breakfast. He wanted my opinion. It seems that he's developed a sudden urge to move to Europe or the Dominican Republic. He's not sure which, but he knows that he doesn't want to stay here anymore. I asked him why and he said he can't find a job here. He said he wants to sell his house, take his equity and purchase a newer and cheaper house elsewhere. He's tired of searching for a job and not getting anywhere.

I suggested college, but he said he's too old. I told him he could never be too old for college, but I don't think I got through to him. His mind was made up. He showed me some of the properties and I told him that they looked good, but first he needed to focus on things like immigration requirements and language barriers. Here are a few of the properties that he e-mailed after I left:

This 5 bedroom, 2 bath cottage in Latvia, going for 60,000 Euros or 75,000 US dollars.

This 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom house in Bulgaria going for 100,000 Euros or 124,000 US dollars.

This 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom fully furnished house in Norway going for 104,600 Euros or 130,000 US dollars.

These really nice Dominican Republic homes going for under 100,000 US dollars.
Yeah, really nice, except during hurricane season.
